Kriselle Cellars is happy to introduce Nora Lancaster as our new Director of Marketing and Sales.

Nora brings years of experience to Kriselle Cellars.  She shares with us an enthusiasm and passion for Kriselle Cellars and the beautiful area we call home.  We are very fortunate to add her to our team.

Nora is at heart a West Coast girl.  The youngest in a large family, Nora moved up and down the coast from Bellingham, Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, to San Luis Obispo in California.  A graduate of San Diego State University, Nora had as much California in her as Pacific Northwest.  Thirteen years ago, she discovered Southern Oregon, and here in the Rogue Valley, Nora found the perfect balance between her Northwest roots and the California sun.

Nora developed her interest in culture and food at an early age.  Her restless family travelled extensively throughout the United States and Western Europe.  They settled for a time in the south of France and the experience left a big impression on Nora, and inspired a life-long passion in art, food, and, of course, wine. Later on, Nora brought these passions with her to Weisinger’s Winery in Ashland, Oregon, where she spent many happy years selling and marketing Weisinger wines.  The experience gave her a deeper appreciation and understanding of the local wine industry and the tremendous potential of this area.  Most recently, Nora gained enrichment from a stint in the banking industry.  However, she is now back to what she loves: spreading the good word about Rogue Valley wines, particularly those of Kriselle Cellars.

Nora also enjoys skiing.  She learned to ski at age five with her family on Mount Baker in Washington.  Nora met her husband at a ski resort and the two have made skiing an integral part of every winter.  She has been a Mount Ashland season pass holder for 13 years!  Music is also an important part of Nora’s life.  You will find her on the Britt Hill all summer and supporting local music venues all year long.  She looks forward to bringing some of our local talent to Kriselle Cellars to share with our visitors.

And of course, Nora adores wine.  She loves the way it brings people together and how a meal becomes an experience once he cork is pulled.  From the vine to the glass, Nora finds the creation of wine compelling, and the enjoyment of a glass of good wine to be one of life’s greatest pleasures.  Nora looks forward to meeting all of our friends and customers as she begins her work with Kriselle Cellars.
